Companion Mode isn't a simplified version of the payer app. it's a completely separate experience, designed from scratch for someone who may be using a smartphone for the first time. We built it this way because you're trusting it on your parent's behalf, and it needs to actually work for them, not just look reassuring to you.

Why it looks the way it does
One screen, one purpose
No tab bars, no nested menus, no gestures to discover. Everything is reachable in a single tap from the home screen.
Hindi-first
The default language, with a visible one-tap toggle, not buried in a settings menu your parent will never find.
Built for a first-time smartphone user
Large text, generously spaced buttons, icon and text together on everything. Never an icon alone that assumes familiarity with app conventions.
Nothing to break
There's nothing to delete, cancel, or misconfigure. Your parent can't get this wrong.
The emergency button, the one thing that has to work, every time
A single, unmistakable button your parent can press if something's wrong. Pressing it reaches your coordinator through two completely independent channels at once: a live dashboard alert, and a real phone call, so it works even if your coordinator isn't looking at a screen at that moment.

Setting it up takes about two minutes
Your coordinator pairs the app to your parent's phone during their first visit. No account creation, no passwords for your parent to remember or forget.
